About
Hello, I'm Cody Crawford, a designer and digital visualization practitioner with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. My work has grown beyond traditional visual communication into digital heritage, historical visualization, GIS, spatial computing, and AI-assisted archival systems.
I am particularly interested in using digital technologies including Blender, mapping tools, interactive archives, and visualization to help document, preserve, and communicate cultural landscapes and historic architecture. My long-term research explores how modern software can support conservation, historical interpretation, and responsible stewardship of the built environment.
Current projects include Moonstone, a digital stewardship platform for archival knowledge and spatial documentation, as well as ongoing work in historical reconstruction, Scottish genealogy, heritage mapping, and educational visualization.
Through these projects, I hope to bridge design, technology, and historical research while contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage.
